SAFFRON DOP FROM L’AQUILA IN THE SALONE DEL GUSTO (EXHIBITION OF TASTE) OF TURIN

Saffron DOP from L’Aquila will be present in Turin for the great international showcase of Mother Earth - Salone del Gusto 2016 (exhibition of taste), which will run until September 26 in Turin, chiftown of Piemonte.

With other leading products of Abruzzo quality production, such as red garlic, wines, olive oil and pecorino cheese, saffron DOP from L’Aquila will be hosted at the stands of the Abruzzo region at the Park of Valentino, thanks to the common effort of the Consortium of the Protection of Saffron PDO from L’Aquila, together with the cultural association “le vie dello zafferano” (“saffron streets”).

The Consortium will represent all the consortium producers who contribute to the production of the precious spice in the Dop area identified in the municipalities of Navelli, Caporciano, San Pio delle Camere, Prata d'Ansidonia, San Demetro ne 'Vestini, Poggio Picenze, Villa Sant'Angelo, Fagnano Alto, Fontecchio, Tione degli Abruzzi, Acciano, Molina Aterno and L'Aquila, among which stands out the historical Coop.
